ABOUT US

1 in 3 young people will grow up without having a mentor.

OUR MISSION

Call me Queen, aims to remind girls to invest in themselves and live to their full potential, while exploring the world around them!

OUR VISION

Call Me Queen Mentor Program Inc., is a 501(c)(3) designed to help girls in grades 4-12, overcome obstacles, and reach their full potential. Through incorporation of personal development, education, the arts, and community service, we hope to support well rounded individuals. We aim towards a growth mindset, encouraging financial literacy; and college and career readiness. By exposing girls to conferences, field trips, and weekly meetings, we hope to show girls that it’s nothing we can’t do if we put our mind to it. Reminding girls that, we all can win!

Youth with mentors are more likely to resist negative influences. Mentoring is fifth in a list of 31 strategies for its rate of success in preventing criminal violent behavior.*

Young people who were at-risk for not graduating high school but who had a mentor were 81% more likely to participate regularly in sports or extracurricular activities and 78% more likely to volunteer regularly in their communities.*
