CROWNED 20 SOMETHING SYNOPSIS:

Crowned 20 Something tells the story of how Dominique Martin went from Little Ms. Perfect to Little Ms. Battered, Bruised, and Lost! Dominique has always mapped out the perfect life, yet somewhere along these 20 something years of life she realized that life would not always go as planned. The reality is that God's timing and plans are not our plans. Everything won't always be cookie cutter, and everything won't always go our way. However, everything happens for a reason.
Dominique has seen how ugly life can be when you don't acknowledge God as the head of your life! She’s realized that no matter how beautiful you may be outside, that you’re still ugly when you do ugly things! For a period of time she found herself lost, looking for love in all the wrong places, and trying to cover the pain from loss of loved ones with things that would in the in end bring more harm to herself, even putting her life in danger.
Sometimes she wonders if things would be different now if she would have chose a different path, but then she’s reminded that her scars can be healing for someone else! So she continues to press forward, facing the hard truth that some things may no longer be reconciled, but at peace knowing that not only can she learn from her mistakes, but she can help others because of it!
There's this great thing about God, you see no matter how far we stray from Him, He's always willing to accept us with open arms. Though faced with obstacles, setbacks, and heartbreaks, Dominique defied the odds and has accomplished many things in these 20 Something years!

Great book overall! It’s a page turner for sure. I really liked the reflection portions. Nice touch. It’s a good memoir about you as an up and coming young professional under the covering of God and overcoming real life situations. It’s like Grownish meets Insecure.
